Mind Dimensions Omnibus by Dima Zales

I feel I have to be delicate with this review because while I did not enjoy this book, I can see the appeal for other readers.

I really like that Darren can freeze his surroundings! I also like that he uses his ability ( I mean who wouldn't love to be able to basically freeze frame your surroundnings?) to do what he does but honestly, the book was a little too sci fi for me to enjoy.

I also thought the character progression (which I like in a book) was lacking and kind of...magoo. However I also think that readers who enjoy a more simpler, plot driven series would enjoy Mind Dimensions.

I was not a huge fan of the dialog...Something was missing...I don't just didn't seem to flow very well and I feel that hurt the story for me but I don't know if I feel this way because I didn't like the book or if it was because there really was substance lacking from the books.

Because of these reasons, I lost interest quick and could only read about 3/4 of the way through the book.

Would I recommend the Mind Dimensions Omnibus to other readers? Yes, I would because I think for the main part, the only reason I wasn't able to connect with the book was becuse the topic was a little too far out for me.
